A loan between friends.

In the corner, a white woman helps a man with his papers. She may be his wife,

Or perhaps she is simply helping a friend.

This is the courtyard, Where men make their plans for the future. The banks will not give loans to newcomers, So they must rely on each other.

The money is scarce, And only one man can be chosen. But even though only one will benefit. They all celebrate together.

For this is more than just a loan. It is a bond of brotherhood. It is a promise of hope. For a better future.
