From Smethwick to the Silver Screen: Discover the filmmaking journey of Sandwell’s own Billy Dosanjh

February 01, 2021 in News

Black Country Touring are launching a free online film festival - "Let's Talk Film". There will be a series of 6 events throughout February and March where you can discover curated films by Black Country programmers.

There’s a variety of films on offer from local history, Caribbean and Indian films to women in film and sound design. Each event has a live broadcast that will include either short films, workshops and Q&As with the creators.

I’m pleased to have been asked to participate in this festival. Join me on the 31st March at 7.30 pm where I will be talking about my filmmaking journey from Smethwick to the silver screen.

You will need to reserve a place in advance for each event as tickets are limited. Tickets can be booked by clicking the link below.
